How to be a "BLOB" king!!

         Like I said in my previous post, you can see a blob fight in almost every battle, but are you realize when you do this, sometimes you lose, sometimes  you win, why?? Well, the answer is simple, whoever have the best blob hero composition win the battle. Oh yeaaa, I'm talking about blob battle, so in this case you fight in the small area where there are no way to flank your enemy, this one work for some map, but of course not in the open field map. 👀


        There are 3 type of role for blob, first is shield unit, no matter if you are using tank like ling Tong or Caesar, or you are using other hero like Diao Chan or Isabella, as long as your unit have shield. This kind of role main job is to absorb as many damage as you can from the enemy. especially when the enemy have archer, block their arrow with your shield. Second is blob DPS, their main job is to deals lot of damage to enemy, there are 2 types of DPS, spear DPS and range DPS. Spearman can deals lot of damage in this battle, but be careful, your unit are very weak against arrow, because you don't have shield. To avoid that, hide your unit behind ally shield unit, you can attack the enemy behind them because you have longer reach than sword. Zhang Bao and Zhang Fei is the best spearman right now. The second DPS is range hero, like archer or even Zhuge Liang with his crossbow and ballista, and for archer, the best archer in blob fight situation is Amunet, Yi Seong Gye, and Xiahou Yuan with their poison arrow, why? because it will reduce enemy defends and spread the poison upon death body, so it's like infinite poison as long as their unit died. The last role is support, this role excel at giving buff and heal to your ally. In this role, Han Xin and Liu Bei is the best for healing your ally, and both of them can increase the number unit in battle because of their skill, the other on is Isabella, she is good because her unit have shield and have decent HP so she can be a frontline too, and her skill, increase attack power for nearby ally, this skill is very good for blob fight, especially if you have spearman near you.

        Summary :

  • You need at least 2 shield unit, you can use 2 tank hero, or 1 tank + support (as long as their unit have shield like Isabella)
  • You need at least 1 DPS, it can be an archer or spearman or BOTH!!
  • You need at least 1 support
  • Spearman is very flexible hero to pick, because it can be your team main DPS and protecting your ally from cavalry charge
  • The most important rule, look for enemy team composition, whoever have less infantry lose the blob, so avoid that, if you have less infantry, example they have 5 infantry and you have 4 infantry + archer, wait them to come to you, and let your archer to do their job, weaken the enemy before blob fight happen
        Hero suggestion for every role :
  • Tank         : Alexander,  Caesar, Ling Tong
  • Support    : Han Xin, Liu Bei, Isabella, Joan
  • Archer      : Amunet, Yi Seong Gye, Xiahou Yuan
  • Spearman : Zhang Bao, Zhang Fei
        Example for hero composition :
  • Alexander, Han Xin, Isabella, Zhang Bao, Xiahou Yuan
  • Caesar, Ling Tong, Liu Bei, Zhang Fei, Yi Seong Gye

        Extra, if the map is very narrow, and there's no high ground place for archer to shoot (flat terrain), use Xiahou Yuan, because he shoot from the horse and always higher than your ally, so you can shoot the enemy from behind your ally unit, since your ally unit will block your arrow if you hit them.
        How to counter enemy archer who are hiding behind ally? simple, use Li Guang or Edward, even if you can't deals damage to blob due to flat terrain, as long as you kill their archer with your "barrage" skill, you will win the battle. 😎👍

           Ok, I promised to tell you what armour plate are best yesterday, so, here we go.         A siege is a military blockade of a city, or fortress, with the intent of conquering by attrition, or a well-prepared assault. This derives from Latin: sedere, lit. 'to sit'. Siege warfare is a form of constant, low-intensity conflict characterized by one party holding a strong, static, defensive position.
